Pamela Denise Bailey

Pamela “Pam” Denise Bailey was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 15, 1960, to the late James and Glendora Bailey. Preceding Pamela in death are her brothers, James Jr., Stafford, and Jeffery. In the evening of September 11, 2021, Pamela was peacefully called home to be with our Lord and Savior. Pamela was the middle girl of the Bailey family born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She was loved by all who met her and was fondly known as Pam and Pamiepoo by her niece, Zemoria. Pamela graduated from Northwestern High School in Baltimore and continued her pursuit for higher education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and graduated from Grand Canyon University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree Language and Communication. Pamela started her communication career at WNUV as a production assistant. She got her big break when she was hired as an Associate Producer at CNN in Atlanta, Georgia. Her other titles while at CNN were editor and technical writer. Pamela finished her career journey working with her friends and second family, Kathy, Ms. Lee, Ms. Jackie and many others at the Hair Gallery II in Baltimore. Pamela was a caring and loving sister, aunt and friend. She had a sweet, quiet spirit but could surprise you with her passionate fiery side that only those close enough had the pleasure of truly experiencing. She loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Because of this she adored holidays, especially Christmas when she knew everyone would be together smiling, singing, laughing, and sharing the infectious spirit of giving. Other than Christmas, Pamela loved showing her competitive side through games. She loved playing UNO, Pictionary, Guesstures, and many other games with family and friends. Pamela held a very close bond to her sisters that never wavered through all their years together. Every day she looked forward to their daily morning and evening calls filled with laughter and love. On the weekends she would run the town with Kathy and friends, shopping, going to restaurants, sharing stories, going to movies and just giving Baltimore a run for its money. Pamela leaves to mourn: her two sisters Valerie (Ted) and A. Jan (Mike), niece Zemoria and nephew Kurt, and a host of other relatives and friends.
