Lorraine Williams

Our LORRAINE WILLIAMS was born on July 31, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles Edward Williams and the late Lillie Victoria Brown. Then moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1972. She was a high school graduate of Walbrook Senior High School, class of 1982 and then went on to Nursing school and became a Licensed Nurse in 1984. Lorraine began working in various nursing homes, even doing private duty. Our Heavenly Father planted her on assignment at Sinai Hospital, (now Life Bridge) Mount Pleasant 1 Psychological Unit back in 2001. She just recently retired on January 31, 2026, after serving patients, families and staff for 25 years. Lorraine Williams was about serving God and His children because she loved and knew the Lord for herself. Lorraine was baptized and joined our home church, Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church under Bishop Reginald Kennedy on June 1, 2003, and was part of the Health Ministry. In March 2012, Lorraine then joined The Trinity Praise Center under Bishop Ned P. Moore where she was an ordained Deaconess, Trustee and their church’s only Nurse. Lorraine continued serving unto our Heavenly Father God in ministry through texting. Early and every single morning, no later than 6:00 am, Lorraine would text out to all of us Heavenly Father’s WORD and encouragement. This was her top priority and joy unto the Lord as many of us were blessed to receive. She loved God and His children giving tough love, and sternness in everything she was assigned. Lorraine was serious about making sure others were taken care of whether at home, church, at work and in the community. She was known for touching many lives. Her kindness, smile, laughter, caring spirit, being as honest and real and being hard on you, were all in her Love for you. She never gave physical birth to children, but was a mother, aunt, sister and true friend to so many people. After lengthy health challenges, our dearest Lorraine was called home to Eternal rest on March 21, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory: sister, Deborah Williams; brother, Sidney Williams Sr; sister-in-Love, Vera Marie Williams; three nephews she adored, Sidney Williams, Jr. (Bria and Mackenzie), Quintez Thomas and Isaiah Williams; Goddaughter, Charlotte Alexandra Burton and beloved son-in-Love, David Fuller. Lorraine loved baking and cooking, which we will miss her turkey wings, potato salad and deviled eggs. She loved going on shopping trips and getting away and loved watching her old TV shows: Perry Mason, Bonanza, LA Law and most importantly WWF Wrestling, especially with all her nephews. Lorraine will be missed beyond measure, but remembered as a child and servant of God, sharing her faith, with life experiences with love, integrity and respect all unto He, our Father God.
