Lisa Jenson

Our beloved mother Lisa Ann Jenson was born June 25, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland. as the only child . to Lolita Jenson and the late Richard Herbert. She departed this life suddenly, the morning of, February 7th, 2022, after a long 4 year battle with diabetes. Lisa grew up in Ellicott City attending Howard County Schools. Then moved to Catonsville where she continued her education and graduated from Revelation 22 Academy as valedictorian at the age of 16. Some years later she attended The Community College of Baltimore County (Catonsville Community College) where she pursued her AA degree in Paralegal studies. Her work history included working as the floor guard at Columbia Skateland, as well as a Bendix Engineering, and finally at the Md State office of Vital records where she left for health reasons. Lisa gave her heart to the Lord at 4 years old and at 12 she received the Holy Spirit Lisa Loved the Lord. She attended church her whole life and was ministered and nurtured by her mom. After her love for the Lord, she loved loved her 6 children and I grandchild, Jayce, immensely! She protected her children like a mommy bear protects her cubs. She also loved her soulmate Jay. Lisa had many interest and talents. One of her loves was roller skating. Roller skating was where she met Jay and he was ab avid skater. She was a part of "MAD UNITY" skating club. She was known by fellow skaters as "Sunshyne" She went to RITC (Rolling in the Carolina's) every year intil 2017 when her health issues started to arise. A talent she had , like no other. was getting a deal. Her kids stayed in the freshest clothes and shoes but know she didn't pay the designer prices! She also couponed and had a stockpile that could last for months. She even got car deals. She would stakeout al night and best believe she came home with a car every time . She had a passion for law and would assist fellow classmates with their papers and a little "unsolicited " advice. She was also VERY funny. She liked to crack jokes. She liked to sing karaoke at Corinthians. She also liked going to the casino. At one point she would go to Atlantic City every weekend because she would get free hotel rooms there. .
