Frank V Jackson

Frank Vernard Jackson was born on December 17th, 1947, in Chesterfield, South Carolina to his parents, Lucille (Cash) and Walter Jackson. He was the youngest of four siblings, Audrey, Will, and an earlier deceased brother. They lived with their maternal Grandparent in South Carolina until their grandmother moved the family to Baltimore to live with their mother. At a young age, Frank married his first love, Margaret Robinson until her death in 2004. They raised their three grandchildren, Rodinay, Savontay, and Shawanna during and after the death of their mother Katrina. Frank worked at Bethlehem Steel for many years as a back-load truck driver. He had huge arms, like Popeye the Sailor Man. Frank retired because of his health with over 34 years of service. In 2005, Frank met and married Cheryl Belt-Jackson in 2007. They lived together for a few years before separating. This was very confusing to some; however, it worked very well for the both of them. They maintain and close and comfortable relationship throughout this union. Cheryl exposed Frank to cruises, day trips, road trips and many other fun things, but she just could not get him on an airplane. Frank would share his adventures with his sister, Audrey and his brother Will. Frank loved collecting things, such as collecting cars, at one time, he owned six cars and did not want to depart from any of them. Frank was also very handy with his tools and was known to assist his mother-in -law, sister and anyone else that asked. Frank was baptized and accepted Jesus at a young age. He loved the Lord and would quote from the New Testament to prove and his point of discussion. He made sure that his Grandchildren and Stepchildren knew his expectations for them accordingly to God’s law. Frank’s trust in God was so strong that when he became ill, he resisted going to the hospital for care. When he was finally admitted to the hospital, he was found to be in very poor condition. Unfortunately, Frank succumbed to his illnesses. Frank leaves to mourn, his devoted wife, Cheryl, his loving grandchildren, Rodinay, Savontay, and Shaqwanna. Great-grandchildren Amari and Riley, His sister, Audrey (deceased), his brother Will (Vida), his stepchildren Shawn and Malcolm (Kaitlyn), step grandchildren, Erica and Legend, brothers in law, John Jr. (Darlene), Jade (Dr. Courtney), sister-in-law, Shae (Gareth), mother-in-law, Joan, and a host of special nieces and nephews and cousins.
