Arianna K. Burney

RIANNA KRISTINA BURNEY was born on December 17, 2004 to Sajjad Burney and Donetta Burney. She was born in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and was the fifth child of six children. Arianna went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She attended Hernwood Elementary School and Deer Park Middle School in her early years and advanced to Randallstown High School where she was looking forward to graduating with the class of 2023. Arianna has showcased her creative talents in so many ways throughout the years, her first show of talents was as a young girl at N’ferno Performing Arts Center where she took tap, ballet, and hip-hop dancing classes. Arianna’s ability to ask questions made her a wise and inquisitive young woman. She knew exactly how to share a kind or inspiring word when you needed it the most. Arianna’s smile and laugh could bring light to any situation. Arianna was employed as a teacher assistant at Randallstown Kids Childcare Center Inc. in Randallstown, Maryland. Loved by many, Arianna had a heart full of love to share. Her overwhelming love and care for her family and friends were felt by all including her Yorkshire Terrier, Jojo. A true “girly girl,” Arianna was the life of the party and always knew how to have a good time. One favorite family memory of Arianna is the exciting family road trip of 2019 to Texas with her Mother, Grandmother, and Grandfather. She was also a true “foodie” and enjoyed a good seafood boil and crab legs. She enjoyed karaoke, hanging out with her friends, taking pictures, and making videos for TikTok. You could often find Arianna putting on makeup, doing her hair and shopping for the current fashionable trends and stylish sneakers. Family, food and fashion were her passion! She was preceded in death by a brother, Kumar Jumar Burney, and her grandfather, Sylvester Kearney, Jr. Arianna Kristina Burney leaves to treasure great memories: her parents, Donetta of the home and Sajjad Burney, Maryland; two sisters, Victoria Green (Jason) of Fort Meade, Maryland and Jasmine Boakye (Prince) of Frisco, Texas; two brothers, Xavier Thomas of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Sajjad Burney Jr. of Pennsylvania; her grandmother, Joanna Kearney of Greenville, NC; two nephews, Jayson Green, Justin Green; niece, Arielle Green; great-grandmother, Mother Ida Brickus of Greenville, NC; uncle, Saddon Burney of New Jersey; aunt, Natara Strong of Huntsville, Alabama; four great-aunts, Laverne Briscoe (Kenneth) of California, Ava Lawson (Masselon) of Maryland, Anita Davis (Kurt) and Sheila Salisbury (Walter, Sr.) of North Carolina; two great-uncles, Jonathan Brickus and Henry Brickus of Maryland; close and dear friends, Khalil Hopkins, Salaya Parry, Kai Ransom; and a host of other relatives and friends.
